About Jeff Heisner

Jeff is an award winning journalist and 19 year veteran of television news.

He began his broadcasting career while finishing his college education at Central Michigan University.

He got his start as a Sports Producer/Photographer at WJRT in Flint, Michigan. After a few years at WJRT, Jeff went to WEYI for his first on-air job. He spent 10 years at various stations in Michigan working in Flint, Lansing, and Detroit.

Jeff won the award for Broadcast-Excellence award from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters as the Sports Director in Lansing.

He came out to Phoenix in 2003 and became the Sports Anchor/Reporter for the ABC affiliate.

Jeff has covered big events, like Super Bowls and Final Fours. He reported live on the death of Pat Tillman and had an exclusive interview with Kurt Warner on severe head injuries in football.

He left ABC15 in February of 2012 to join his wife, Jodie at BottomLine Media Coaching.

He is a golf fanatic, and also enjoys hiking Camelback Mountain and taking the family to the both the Phoenix and Detroit Zoos.
